Bio....
My training began directly under O'Sensei Joe Puleio, the founder of the American Jiu-Jitsu Federation, in 1990. I achieved the rank of Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) and his Instructor Certification in 1996, the rank of Nidan (2nd Degree) in 2004, I am currently training for the rank of Sandan (3rd Degree.)

I brought my acclaimed self-defense instruction from Long Island to schools and businesses throughout the greater New York City area. I lead self-defense seminars at educational institutions including Dowling College, New School, and New York University; law firms including Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP; non-profit organizations including New York Cares and government agencies.

I was formerly a member of the Hombu Demonstration team, during which time I performed for Grandmaster Shoto Tanemura of the Kokusai Ju-Jitsu Remnei and in numerous events across the country. In addition, I continue to train with experts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, weapons defensive tactics, and other disciplines.

I am certified by the American Red Cross in First Aid and Adult CPR/AED.
